Abstract

<jats:p>The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of approaches to postoperative management of patients with ChPRS using antileukotrienes and monoclonal antibodies. This paper presents the results of a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of various methods of management of 140 patients with ChPRS in the postoperative period. Clinical materials of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis (who underwent excision of polyps) are included in the study. Depending on the choice of postoperative management method, patients were divided into 3 main groups: 1 – patients received only steroid therapy, 2 – patients received steroid therapy with montelukast, and 3 – patients received steroid therapy with omalizumab (Xolair 300 mg).</jats:p>
