Особенности излучения релятивистских электронных сгустков при прохождении через дисперсионный диэлектрический шар

<jats:p>The results of a theoretical study of the spectral–angular distribution of radiation generated by bunches of charged particles crossing a dielectric sphere placed in vacuum are presented. For a nondispersive dielectric sphere, it was previously shown that, for certain values of the system parameters, the emitted radiation exhibits a resonant character within narrow frequency ranges. In the present work, it is demonstrated that taking into account the dispersion of the dielectric permittivity can not only significantly modify the spectral–angular distribution of the radiation but also lead to a substantial increase in the total radiated energy over a sufficiently wide frequency range.</jats:p>
