<jats:p>  This article addresses the need to expand the conceptualization of the syndrome of chronic psychological stress. An attempt is made to clarify the concept of chronic psychological stress and to examine its etiology and pathogenesis, which are essential for the further development of diagnostic tools for chronic psychological stress, as well as for outlining future prospects in the creation of methodological materials for its prevention and psychological intervention.</jats:p>
