Abstract

<jats:p>Lullabies, as songs of maternal praise and care, hold exceptional significance in Armenian folklore. They embody deep maternal emotions and reflect the Christian value system, playing an indispensable role in shaping a child’s spiritual and intellectual world from the very beginning. The word "ororel" has various regional variants and names, such as heyrur, nanik, lorik, nenni, rurik, and nana.</jats:p>
