Abstract
<jats:p>Artificial Intelligence (AI) keeps booming technologically, helping humans in many sectors with succinct skills built in and continually being built. It is apparent and welcomed by humanity, appreciating its assistance in facilitating human life. However, the fact that nothing is gained without any cost in reality, which is applicable to AI, too. As a digital system, AI is a pool of computing tools to process data and produce outcome accordingly, while handling data and producing responsible outcomes remains as one of the paramount concerns. Ethics in AI and data analytics, and responsible AI are one of the key concepts of modern AI studies in order to mitigate the potential threats and risks in the future to any extent. Since Türkiye is one of the fastest-growing countries, the boom in AI and digital systems as well as the advancements in cyber systems, need to be specially cared for. This article overviews and discusses what would be the threats and cause of risks to nature and the environment in the future with respect to energy and water.</jats:p>
