Abstract
"Green Transformation in Industry is a comprehensive work that demonstrates how sustainable development, alongside environmental protection, is a strategic necessity for economic competitiveness, social welfare, and the right to life of future generations. The book addresses the new development paradigm offered by green transformation and the circular economy in the face of global issues such as the climate crisis, water stress, energy supply security, and resource efficiency from an interdisciplinary perspective. It also evaluates the European Green Deal, Turkey's 2053 net-zero vision, and transformation in the fields of industry, energy, transportation, agriculture, and finance within a holistic framework. The work presents a wide range of technical and strategic content, from carbon reduction technologies to green hydrogen, industrial symbiosis applications to sustainable transportation and agricultural productivity solutions. It also provides a detailed analysis of national policies such as Turkey's Green Deal Action Plan, Emissions Trading System, and renewable energy initiatives. Aiming to increase the competitiveness of industry, reduce environmental impacts, and transition to a sustainable economic structure, this work is a scientific reference source that serves as a guide for academia, the business world, and policymakers."
