Abstract
Stepan Zelinsky made a great contribution to the ethnographic study of Armenian economic culture. He began his scientific activity during the period of active recording of ethnographic material (Late 19th - early 20th centuries). During this period, Armenian ethnography was only developing as a separate science, and it was necessary to develop certain research approaches, principles, and patterns. It should be emphasized that Zelinsky's works are valuable not only from the point of view of exclusivity of information materials, but also from the point of view presented above. Unlike the materials left by other ethnographers who were engaged in the same activity during the same period, Zelinsky's works differ in descriptive details and the style of highlighting individual subtopics. However, the value of his scientific legacy has not been sufficiently studied. In our deep conviction, it is in this context that the topic becomes important and relevant for study. The purpose of the article is to reveal the research system created by Zelinsky in the field of ethnographic studies of economic culture, presenting the main accents. For the first time, an attempt was made to summarize the bibliography of Zelinsky's works by compiling a single list․
