Մովսես Խորենացու տողերի նոր մեկնաբանություն

<jats:p>The aim of the research is to analyze the true meaning and significance of the controversial lines and words in Movses Khorenatsi's valuable work "History of the Armenians", to uncover and clarify the thought expressed by those lines and the meaning of the words in context, to present new interpretations of them, and to help readers correctly understand the text. Methods and Materials: The study is based on a comparative examination of words and materials from folk works, performing linguistic analyses. In order to provide the correct interpretation of the presented controversial words, we have used the opportunities provided by numerous sources of ancient literature, both domestic and foreign, the Bible, modern literature, valuable dictionaries, even folk culture, and oral works. The fact of the existence of possible errors made by writers has not been ignored. Analysis: Within our capabilities, we have tried to give a new interpretation of the controversial lines of Movses Khorenatsi, based on the data of ancient bibliography. Results: Well-founded interpretations have been proposed, which offer new insights into the precise reading of this particular passage of Movses Khorenatsi’s Heritage.</jats:p>
