SENDEROS DEL CEREBRO BILINGÜEN ENFOQUE RELACIONAL DE LOS FENÓMENOS DE CONTACTO LINGÜÍSTICO

<jats:p>This work has been developing with considerable difficulty. I began the project in 2016, after publishing a book on Romanian-Spanish language contact. Frustrated by the sociolinguistic approach, which is content to analyze contact phenomena from the outside, I became interested in the mental mechanisms behind these phenomena. Inevitably, this led me to investigate various theoretical models of language as a cognitive process and, among them, to discover Lamb’s Relational Network Theory (RRT) (1999). I was fascinated by the possibility of reconciling linguistics with neurolinguistics and neuroscience in general, and I began to research the topic further.</jats:p>
