Abstract

The review is dedicated to the new book of Prof. Ph.D. Vladko Murdarov „Miscellaneous New (And Old) Language Tips“, which includes topics that have become particularly relevant over the last two or three decades. The focus is on diferrent areas of the language norm – pronunciation, spelling, the peculiarities of forms in terms of grammar and the stylistics of their use, because we all constantly demonstrate our inability to apply modern language norms, and in addition, we also need to learn about new facts that appear. This time the author has allowed himself to return to some tips that are also found in his earlier books, because the constant hesitations and mistakes that are observed suggest that what has been said should be repeated many times. The tips included in the book are conditionally divided into four large sections based on the topics presented in them. For the convenience of readers, a separate section contains an index of all described cases, of all the words, forms, expressions and even entire sentences that were the subject of attention.
