Abstract
<jats:p>В статье представлены результаты изучения нескольких списков «Сказания об осаде Тихвинского монастыря» XVII — первой трети XVIII вв., которые обнаруживаются в составе летописных сводов, исторических сборников и в составе книг о Тихвинской иконе Пресвятой Богородицы «Одигитрия». Соответственно, выделяются две традиции бытования исследуемого текста. Обобщаются известные на данный момент обстоятельства создания текста, анализируются лингвостилистические параметры «Сказания…» в составе книг и летописных сводов. Сопоставительный анализ языковых характеристик текста позволяет сделать выводы о зависимости отбора языковых средств и способов организации текста в целом от авторских установок и соответствующей языковой традиции.</jats:p> <jats:p>This article presents the results of a study of several copies of the “Tale of the Siege of the Tikhvin Monastery” from the 17th to the first third of the 18th century, as found in chronicle compilations or historical miscellanies, or in books devoted to the Tikhvin Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos “Odigitria.” Accordingly, the author identifies two distinct traditions for the text’s circulation. After summarizing known circumstances surrounding the Tale’s appearance and analyzing the linguo- stylistic parameters of both book and manuscript versions, the author goes on to use comparative linguistic analysis to show that linguistic choices and overall textual organisation are dependent upon authorial intention and the corresponding linguistic tradition.</jats:p>
