<jats:p>The article examines global and regional trends in the development of the battery market, with a focus on the energy storage systems (ESS) segment, starter and traction batteries. Particular attention is paid to assessing market dynamics and market drivers. The prospects for the development of the battery market in the CIS and Belarus are considered separately, as well as the strategy for transitioning to innovative and energy-efficient solutions by the 1AK-GROUP Holding, the largest Belarusian manufacturer of rechargeable batteries.</jats:p>
