Abstract
<jats:p>The article is devoted to the assessment of the destructive changes in interstate relations in the system of ensuring global international legal security that have occurred over the past twenty-five years, leading to a crisis in the application of international criminal law. Under the influence of the global Americanized oligarchic power in international criminal law and its application, the lack of unity in ideological and methodological ideas and approaches regarding the assessment of the content of the protected basic values of international legal security by legal instruments of international criminal law has become obvious. As a result, the process of destruction of imperatively balanced foundations and guarantees of the safe and peaceful existence of states and international criminal law itself, recognized to ensure the imperativeness and inviolability of these foundations, continues, which is incomprehensible to man and humanity</jats:p>
