Abstract

<jats:p>In his home, Johann Wolfgang Goethe cultivated potted plants, which he studied scientifically and wrote poetry about. He also gave them away as gifts. This essay addresses the curatorial challenge of exhibiting plants in a museum of a poet’s house, focusing on a plant installation by Sonya Schönberger.</jats:p>
