Abstract

With the rapid advancement of technology, access to information has also become easier. Artificial intelligence is one of the technologies that has come to the fore in recent years. As digital transformation occurs at such a rapid pace around the world, schools are also trying to keep up with this pace. However, one of the fundamental goals of education is to teach students how to cope with the rapid development of technologies and adapt to this situation. With the emergence of artificial intelligence, many traditional sustainability practices have been developed and enriched with innovations. One of these is course modules. In this context, the aim of this study is to design an AI-supported educational module that science teachers can use in their Environmental Education and Climate Change courses. The course module comprehensively addresses environmental and climate change issues for middle school students, aiming to relate sustainable living concepts and recycling practices to artificial intelligence technologies and provide an interdisciplinary learning environment.
