Abstract

Employee experience has emerged as a critical driver of organisational resilience, adaptability, and performance in the future of work. Extending beyond traditional engagement initiatives, EX encompasses the entire employee journey, from recruitment to exit. As hybrid work, artificial intelligence, and evolving employee expectations reshape workplaces, experiential organisations have gained prominence. Rather than relying on transactional relationships, organisations must intentionally design immersive, personalised, and culturally aligned work environments that employees actively choose. In experiential organisations, culture and employee well-being are positioned as central to innovation, customer satisfaction, and brand differentiation. This chapter examines the rise of experiential organisations by exploring the intersection of employee experience, organisational culture, and AI-enabled transformation, demonstrating how experiential models support employee well-being and sustainable business outcomes.
