Abstract
<jats:p>This chapter examines how business excellence frameworks evolved from traditional quality management to integrated strategic capabilities addressing digital transformation, sustainability, and resilience. Business excellence transformed from operational enhancement to multidimensional strategic capability encompassing stakeholder-centred leadership, AI applications, and Sustainable Development Goals integration. Research demonstrates organisations implementing comprehensive excellence frameworks achieve better results than fragmented approaches. Quality award winners achieve 107% higher operating income growth and 64% greater sales. Digital transformation integration enables AI applications delivering 15-25% cost reductions and 20-57% forecast accuracy improvements. However, implementation success varies significantly, with failures typically resulting from fragmented approaches and inadequate change management. This chapter develops an integrated strategic framework for contemporary business excellence implementation, providing practical guidance for sustainable transformation.</jats:p>
