Abstract

The chapter examines transdisciplinary learning preparedness that can be developed by organizations in a complex and rapidly changing entrepreneurial landscape. It states that discipline-based approaches are inadequate in solving problems that need to integrate the technical, social, and economic domains. Agile organizations are introduced as dynamic learning systems that focus on constant adaptation, experimentation, and feedback. Adaptive leadership is illuminated to promote psychological safety, sensemaking collectively, and learning across boundaries. Another important aspect is the role of peer networks in facilitating collective intelligence and the co-creation of knowledge. Cognitive agility, social collaboration, and emotional resilience are outlined as defining transdisciplinary readiness. The chapter presents agile learning structures that combine formal and informal learning with digital space, suggesting a combined system connecting leadership, organizational design, and learning systems, in which learning preparedness is a key factor in successful innovation.
