Immersive Training for the AI-Enabled Factory

<jats:p>This chapter examines the potential of immersive training methods such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and simulation-based approaches including Digital Twins in AI-enabled factories. It presents the theoretical foundations, pedagogical concepts, and practical applications, while discussing opportunities, challenges, and future developments. The chapter highlights how employees can be effectively prepared for complex, data-driven production processes and emphasizes the significance of immersive training for the competitiveness and innovation capacity of modern manufacturing companies.</jats:p>
