Abstract
<jats:p>This chapter discusses responsible data analysis within educational leadership-related dissertations by addressing the most common misuses of statistical analysis and errors in reporting findings. The authors provide comprehensive guidance on selecting and correctly applying a range of statistical techniques, cautioning against drawing incorrect conclusions that stem from flawed practices such as p hacking or cherry-picking findings. The overarching aim is to ensure the validity of statistical interpretations, thereby promoting robust data analysis and reporting practices for quantitative research designs.</jats:p>
