Abstract
<jats:p>The purpose of this chapter is to critically analyze how Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) are changing the definition of academic quality in higher education by going beyond conventional grading system. Moreover, this chapter illustrate how student learning outcomes can support a culture of accountability and continuous development, connect theory and practice, and complement institutional missions. It also explains the challenges in implement student learning outcomes and benefits of accreditation. It concludes by emphasizing the importance of meaningful learning outcomes in preparing students for transformative futures, lifelong learning, and professional achievement.</jats:p>
