Abstract
The presented book chapter focuses on the characterization of a modified ring shaped antenna loaded with symmetrical X shaped pattern. The book chapter includes eight Sections. Section 1 offers general overview on wireless communication, whereas Section 2 illustrates the role of antennas in wireless communication. Section 3 covers a comprehensive literature review related to numerous antenna designs. The entire construction process of the realized structure is illustrated in Section 4. The overall dimensions of the investigated geometry are 30 x 30 x 1.6 mm3. During antenna designing, outer ring represents the base design and then slots loaded X shaped pattern is incorporated onto the parent ring. A brief overview on the ANN approach is elucidated in Section 5. Section 6 presents the software generated outcomes in an effective manner. Results reveal that the resonant points fall at 2.85, 5.30, 10.76, 13.14, and 14.81 GHz. At the observed frequency points, the reported peak gain is 3.15, 4.93, 3.56, 5.13, and 8.11 dB, respectively. Section 8 compiles the entire findings.
