<jats:p>This study examines how intelligent configurations based on the Internet of Things (IoT) are driving a profound systemic restructuring in various industries, favoring the convergence between digital economies and adaptive sectors. A theoretical-practical review shows that the digitalization generated by IoT optimizes operational efficiency, improves predictive capacity and fosters sustainable business models. However, important challenges such as interoperability, data security, and organizational resilience remain, critical aspects that must be addressed for effective integration.</jats:p>
