Abstract
Science education is not limited to the transmission of knowledge but is possible through students making sense of the information and achieving permanent learning. Especially in chemistry lessons, abstract concepts, technical terms, and mathematical operations pose challenges for students. This situation decreases students' motivation and creates anxiety about failure. Therefore, the use of visual and concrete materials, activities related to daily life, and methods that increase student participation are important in chemistry teaching. In this context, worksheets are effective tools that include various activities such as concept cartoons, concept maps, and structured grids, making learning more concrete, in-depth, and reinforced. In this study, sample worksheets were developed based on the 5E model to be used in the teaching of certain chemistry topics and concepts. The study aims to facilitate students' learning and provide guidance to teachers in the material preparation process.
