Abstract

<jats:p>This project introduces a travel assistance chatbot designed to address the evolving needs of the tourism sector by providing instant and accurate responses to travel-related inquiries. Leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques, the chatbot is built in Python and is designed to personalise interactions, streamline information delivery, and enhance overall customer engagement. The chatbot enhances operational efficiency by automating responses and addressing frequently asked questions, enabling travel providers to concentrate on more complex customer service issues. While Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies were not employed, this project effectively demonstrates how NLP and ML can serve as impactful tools in personalising travel experiences, supporting sustainable tourism, and potentially reducing resource demands in customer service.</jats:p>
