<jats:p>It is shown on three cyprinid fish species of freshwater reservoirs in Primorye that parasitological research allows to obtain information both about the spread of pathogens of dangerous diseases of humans and animals, and about the type of reservoir and anthropogenic changes in natural ecosystems.</jats:p>
