Abstract
<jats:p>On the base of joint use of the multi-scale remote imagery and the results of field floristic and geobotanical research, a test method for vegetation mapping of reindeer pastures of the Olyutorsky district of the Kamchatka Territory has been elaborated. Preliminary geobotanical maps of reindeer pastures of the model territories were compiled. The proposed methods are planned to be supplemented with the possibility to assess the state and degree of pasture disturbance, as well as evaluate the phytomass resources and forage productivity of reindeer pastures.</jats:p>
