Abstract
<jats:p>В статье рассматриваются русские семантические заимствования, внедренные в алеутский язык переводчиками Священного Писания. Исследование выявляет признаки в значениях исконных слов, которые привели к их использованию при переводах религиозных текстов на язык алеутов, и раскрывает результаты воздействия семантических сдвигов на соответствующие фрагменты языковой картины мира. Развитие лексической системы алеутского языка в ходе языковых контактов проявилось в образовании новых единиц с помощью исконных элементов от исконных основ в их новых значениях и в образовании синонимических рядов, состоящих из исконных лексем, получивших новые религиозные значения. Переводы Священного Писания принесли новую религиозную картину мира коренным народам Аляски и повлекли значительные изменения в языковой картине мира.</jats:p> <jats:p>The article deals with Russian semantic borrowings introduced into the Aleut language by translators of the Holy Scriptures. The study identifies the features in the meanings of the original words that led to their use in translating religious texts into the Aleut language and reveals the results of the impact of semantic shifts on the corresponding fragments of the linguistic picture of the world. The development of the lexical system of the Aleut language in the course of language contacts manifested itself in the formation of new units with the help of native elements from native bases in their new meanings and in the formation of synonymic series consisting of native lexemes that received new religious meanings. Translators of the Holy Scriptures brought a new religious world view to the indigenous peoples of Alaska and considerable changes in the linguistic world picture.</jats:p>
