Abstract
<jats:p>Adli belge incelemelerinde imza incelemeleri önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Borç-alacak ilişkisi belirten senet veya çek gibi bir belgenin geçerli olabilmesi için belgedeki imzanın hem kişinin kendi el ürünü olması ve hem de belgeyi onaylar mahiyette oluşturulması gerekmektedir. Başka amaçla elde edilen bir imza olan pencere yöntemi ile sahtecilik, üst üste yapıştırılan iki kağıttan üsteki olana açılan pencere bölümüne imza attırılarak alttaki kağıda imza attırılıması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda, nadir görülen pencere yöntemiyle yapılan sahteciliğin adli belge incelemecilerin nasıl tespit edebileceklerini anlatmaktadır. Signature examinations have an important place in questioned document examinations. In order for a document such as a promissory note or check indicating a debt-credit relationship to be valid, the signature on the document must be both the person's own handiwork and must be created in a manner that approves the document. Forgery with the window method, which is a signature obtained for another purpose, is intended to have the signature placed on the upper paper of two papers glued on top of each other and to have the signature placed on the lower paper.This case report explains how questioned document examiners can detect forgery with the window method, which is rarely seen.</jats:p>
