Abstract
<jats:p>В статье отмечается, что язык и элементы культуры татар в Удмуртии сохраняются и развиваются в контексте современных российских реалий, связанных с культурной ассимиляцией. Она оказывает некоторое негативное воздействие на формирование этнической идентичности татар в Удмуртии. Наблюдается сокращение преподавания татарского языка в отдельных школах республики. Вместе с тем популярность приобретают иные формы популяризации этнокультурных ценностей, реализуемые через систему дополнительного образования для детей и просветительские проекты татарской общественности.</jats:p> <jats:p>The article notes that the language and elements of Tatar culture in Udmurtia are preserved and developed in the context of modern Russian realities associated with cultural assimilation. It has some negative impact on the formation of the ethnic identity of Tatars in Udmurtia. There is a decrease in teaching the Tatar language in some schools of the republic. At the same time, other forms of popularization of ethnocultural values, implemented through the system of additional education for children and educational projects of the Tatar community, are gaining popularity.</jats:p>
