Abstract

<jats:p>The article presents the results of an empirical study of the impact of the event-based approach, enriched by digital media practices, on engagement and psychological safety in the digital educational environment. A sample of students of a pedagogical university (N = 107) showed that the integration of interactive technologies (video cases, metaphors, self-diagnosis) and media practices (digital viewing, voting, chat reflection) contributes to the formation of a safe environment and increased engagement in a blended learning format.</jats:p>
