Abstract

<jats:p>The article examines the role of innovative educational technologies and methods in training employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Modern approaches to training are analyzed, including specialized software, virtual and augmented reality, active and interactive teaching methods, as well as educational technologies. Particular attention is given to practice-oriented methods, such as training grounds, off-site classes, and project-based learning. Based on an analysis of the experience of leading universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, conclusions are drawn on how innovations enhance the effectiveness of the educational process.</jats:p>
