Abstract

<jats:p>The purpose of the article is to clarify the specifics of the multimodal approach implemented in the training of professional staff - teachers of foreign languages in the international educational space. Comparing the situation in the countries preserving elements of traditional culture with the situation in the countries as leaders of innovative development reveals the consequences of innovative transformations of tertiary education. The research method is a comparative analysis that helps to show the multimodal approach increases the effectiveness of teacher training, but requires support from traditional methods.</jats:p>
