Abstract
The article discusses anti-crisis development strategies for construction companies in a regional context during Ukraine's economic transformation. The construction sector is currently not only an industry that responds to crisis processes, but also a foundation for economic recovery. During periods of military action and instability, it is construction companies that generate demand for related industries, create jobs, and ensure the renewal of urban infrastructure. However, they also face staff shortages, disruptions to logistics chains, and instability in the investment environment. The study focuses on analyzing how companies in the regions are adapting to these challenges and which tools are effective in crisis conditions. The study shows that construction companies in western Ukraine have become centers for the redistribution of production capacity and the attraction of investment, while the eastern and southern regions have suffered extensive damage and require new approaches to recovery. An analysis of the activities of 14 enterprises in the Volyn, Lviv, and Rivne regions showed that effective anti-crisis strategies are based on three key areas: resource stabilization (preserving the production base, optimizing supply chains, training personnel), partnership integration (cooperation with local authorities, participation in recovery programs, formation of clusters), and digital transformation (introduction of BIM, CRM, and ERP systems that reduce costs and risks). The results prove that the sustainability of construction companies depends not only on financial resources, but also on the quality of interaction between business, government, and the community. Regional cooperation and digitalization create conditions for the formation of a new anti-crisis model − one that is flexible, socially responsible, and focused on the development of people and territories.
