Abstract

The article substantiates the methodological foundations for assessing the level of intellectualization of strategic change management in an enterprise under conditions of digital transformation and growing security challenges. The relevance of the study is determined by the increasing complexity of the external environment, the acceleration of technological change, the spread of artificial intelligence technologies, and the need for enterprises to ensure resilience, adaptability, and strategic flexibility. It is established that the effectiveness of strategic change management increasingly depends not only on the level of digitalization of business processes, but also on an enterprise’s ability to use information, managerial knowledge, analytical tools, forecasting systems, and artificial intelligence technologies in the process of making strategic decisions. The article argues that existing approaches to assessing digital maturity, innovation development, and organizational readiness for transformation do not fully reflect the specific features of intellectualized strategic change management. The purpose of the article is to develop a methodological approach to assessing the level of intellectualization of strategic change management in an enterprise based on the formation of an integral readiness index. The proposed approach is based on six key components: information maturity, analytical maturity, digital maturity, the level of use of artificial intelligence technologies, organizational readiness for change, and the enterprise’s strategic maturity. A system of criteria and indicators for assessing each component of the index has been developed. The methodological approach provides for the consistent implementation of several stages: formation of assessment components, determination of indicators, normalization of their values, calculation of partial indices, calculation of the integral index, and interpretation of the obtained results. The integral index of readiness for the intellectualization of strategic change management makes it possible to determine the level of enterprise readiness from very low to very high. The practical significance of the proposed approach lies in its use for diagnosing enterprise management systems, identifying problematic components of intellectualization, substantiating areas of digital transformation, improving decision-support systems, and increasing enterprise resilience under security challenges. Further research should focus on the practical testing of the proposed methodology in enterprises across various sectors of the economy, in particular in the logistics sector. Special attention should be paid to expert assessment, employee surveys, clarification of weighting coefficients, and verification of the relationship between the level of intellectualization of strategic change management and indicators of enterprise resilience, adaptability, and competitiveness.
