Abstract
The volume stems from the training pathway developed over the past decade by the Department of Education, Languages, Interculture, Literatures and Psychology at the University of Florence, in collaboration with the Hospital School of the Meyer University Hospital in Florence. It offers a pedagogical reflection on and with education and school professionals, with the aim of fostering reflective practices and educational care within critical and complex contexts. Through theoretical contributions and field experiences, the book provides models, tools, and perspectives for re-thinking the preparation of teachers, educators, and pedagogists, recognizing the school as an integral part of the life project of children and adolescents facing illness.
