Suffragio, donne, partiti

<jats:p xml:lang="en">The volume, published to mark the eightieth anniversary of the achievement of women’s suffrage in Italy, brings together nine contributions devoted to the suffragist campaign, to the positions taken by political parties and to the orientations that emerged within the international debate, to women’s protagonism within the major political families of Republican Italy, and to the political‑pedagogical dimension articulated by several intellectuals. Particular attention is paid to the developments, tensions and silences that characterise public memory of suffrage and the suffragists.</jats:p>
