Abstract
<jats:p>В статье анализируется динамика численности удельных крестьян и количества удельных поселений, сосредоточенных в Шенкурском уезде Архангельской губернии. Исследование базируется на законодательных и делопроизводственных источниках, выявленных в государственных архивах. Доказано, что между V-X ревизиями в удельных приказах Архангельской губернии происходил прирост мужского населения на фоне противоположной тенденции сокращения удельных селений по причинам запустения и слияния деревень. При этом уровень увеличения численности мужчин и уменьшения количества деревень соотносился с расположением удельных приказов с юга на север. В зависимости от степени проявления указанных тенденций, изменялись показатели людности удельных поселений в губернии, которые имели устойчивый рост. Заселённость селений заметно варьировалась по удельным приказам Шенкурского уезда Архангельской губернии. Между V-X ревизиями показатели людности поселений были самыми большими в Усть-Важском удельном приказе, а наиболее высокий темп их увеличения оказался в Благовещенском приказе.</jats:p> <jats:p>The paper analyzes the dynamics of the number of appanage peasants and appanage settlements concentrated in the Shenkursk Uyezd of the Arkhangelsk Province. The study is based on legislative and administrative sources found in state archives. It is proven that between the V-X revisions in the Appanage Departments (Prikazs) of the Arkhangelsk Province there was an increase in the male population against the background of the opposite trend of reduction of appanage villages due to the desolation and merging of villages. At the same time, the level of increase in the number of men and decrease in the number of villages correlated with the location of Appanage Prikazs from south to north. Depending on the degree of manifestation of these trends, the population indicators of the appanage settlements in the province changed, which had a steady growth. The population of villages varied significantly across the Appanage Departments (Prikazs) of the Shenkursk Uyezd of the Arkhangelsk Province. Between the V-X revisions, the population of settlements was highest in the Ust-Vazhsky Appanage Prikaz, and the highest rate of increase was in the Blagoveshchensk Prikaz.</jats:p>
