Old Age Between Personal Experience and Social Representation

<jats:p>The issues of aging and the elderly in the past, as highlighted in this scientific monograph, have long been marginalized in Slovenian historiography. The monograph represents a novelty both in terms of content and interdisciplinarity, as it goes beyond mere historical facts, giving them a new dimension by incorporating perspectives from the social sciences and cultural studies. The work reveals fresh perspectives on the multifaceted phenomenon of aging and on how it was confronted in various environments and social settings in the past.</jats:p>
