<jats:p>Generation Alpha, students born between 2010 and 2025, is a generation that has been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and distance learning, and therefore, is particularly digitally oriented. However, post-pandemic school still mainly focuses on using books rather than technology. Quantitative research on a sample of 593 students between 6 and 14 years old in the period between 2020 and 2023 identifies the age between eight and nine years old as the period when books are still relevant as teaching tools.</jats:p>
