Abstract

This chapter presents an introductory study aimed at engaging minority students to assume the roles of informants, narrators, and mediators, conveying linguistic, cultural, and identity aspects of their community to mainstream lower secondary school pupils and teachers. Additionally, the project seeks to collaboratively develop content and methodologies that would bring the minority language closer to majority-language children, viewed through the perspective of young people.
