Abstract
<jats:p>The article presents the results of the analysis of defects in polymer composite materials (PCMs) using a Pareto chart in order to identify the direction of their strengthening processing in a microwave electromagnetic field and to specify the objects of application of this technological method. As a criterion for constructing the chart, it is proposed to use the distribution of defects according to the frequency of their mention in the scientific and tech-nical literature devoted to the study of the properties of PCMs and the production problems of their manufacture.</jats:p>
