Abstract
<jats:p>В статье представлен опыт научно-исследовательской, выставочной и образовательной деятельности Музея декоративно-прикладного и промышленного искусства РГХПУ им. С.Г. Строганова. Созданный в 1864 г., он всегда был и остается структурным подразделением учебного заведения, решая важные задачи подготовки профессиональных кадров в сфере промышленного дизайна и прикладного искусства. Его сотрудники ведут большую научно-исследовательскую и выставочную работу, а предметы из музейных коллекций экспонируются как в университете, так и в других музеях</jats:p> <jats:p>The article presents the experience of scientific research, exhibition and educational activities of the Museum of Decorative, Applied and Industrial Art of the Stroganov Russian State Pedagogical University. Established in 1864, it has always been and remains a structural unit of the educational institution, solving important tasks of training professional personnel in the field of industrial design and applied arts. Its staff conducts extensive research and exhibition work, and items from museum collections are on display both at the university and in other museums.</jats:p>
