Abstract
<jats:p>Compared to some other medieval pastoral communities located in the uplands of the Trebinje region, the Vlachs of the Žurović family have not been extensively researched, and thus their history remains less known. Based on unpublished and published archival material from Dubrovnik, relevant literature, and the author’s field research, various contracts related to the territorial organisation of the Žurović Vlachs, their involvement in trade, credit transactions, criminal offenses, and migrations are presented and analysed.</jats:p>
