Abstract
The article provides information on the geological and structural position, typomorphic features, and native gold composition in the rich placer at the Jalon Creek in the Mogot ore-placer node of the Amur province. It is shown that the placer is associated with the Late Jurassic Jalon granite massif, with no gold occurrences known. In the Jalon Creek valley, a gold deposit is predicted, with non-contrasting ores represented by weakly altered granites with a low proportion of quartz-vein component as well as native gold other ore minerals impregnation.
