Abstract

<jats:p>Within the categories of time and space, the South Caucasus has always been and remains an arena of constant struggle among the world powers. Its geopolitical and geoeconomic significance, rich resources, and location along the Great Silk Road are the key factors shaping this competition. In the modern era, the path toward turning the region into a sphere of influence for any global power lies through the relations established with the states of the region. In this sense, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia are of strategic importance not only for the United States and Russia but also for Iran, Turkey, and the countries of the European Union, being part of the configuration of geopolitical and military rivalry for the region. Therefore, the Republic of Azerbaijan, as the leading state in the region, stands at the center of this struggle. The article analyzes the essence and content of Azerbaijan’s policy within the framework of the U.S. strategy toward the South Caucasus and in the context of the information war, examining both contradictory and objective issues.</jats:p>
