Abstract
This module “How to stimulate learning through play” highlights the importance of play in early childhood development and its role in preparing children for the challenges of the 21st century. It begins with an introduction to the essential skills needed in a rapidly changing world and the impact of play on early brain formation. Practical activities include analyzing the parent’s contribution to a child’s development, exploring social interactions through play, and identifying key developmental domains: physical, socio-emotional, cognitive, language, and attitudinal. The module provides strategies and concrete examples of games that support holistic child development, emphasizing learning through free and structured play. The session concludes with a recap and supplementary materials to reinforce the concepts shared. This module is part of the materials dedicated to the training of parental educators.
