Abstract

The peer-reviewed proceedings book from Humanities, edited by Dr Daniel Siter and Blaž Podobnik, brings together four research contributions presented within the framework of the 12th and 13th International Scientific Conference »It’s About People« in 2024 and 2025. The volume reflects the thematic openness and methodological diversity that have long marked the conference’s humanities sections. The collected articles address topics such as democratic values and political culture in post-communist Albania, public attitudes towards surrogacy in Slovenia, the relationship between economy and artistic production through the case of the Forma viva sculpture symposium in Maribor, and inherited occupational skills explored through autoethnographic research. The publication offers insight into the diversity of contemporary humanistic inquiry and the discussions emerging within the conference’s humanities and social sciences sections.
