<jats:p>Volume IV of the monograph on the Late Bronze Age cemetery in Domasław/Chrzanów near Wrocław crowns the monumental three-volume presentation of the sources from one of the largest (over 2,000 graves) cremation necropolises of the Lusatian culture community in Silesia. The series was published in 2022 by the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Friends of IAiE PAN Foundation. In this final monograph, alongside the classical archaeological analysis focused on the discussion of the sources, there is also room for numerous archaeometric studies. Among them are analyses of cremated human remains (B. Iwanek, P. Dąbrowski, A. Józefowska, J. Piontek), animal bones and artefacts made of antler and bone (R. Abłamowicz), glass beads (T. Purowski), chemical composition (P. Gan) and use-wear of selected bronze artefacts (K. Nowak), petrographic analysis of rocks (S. Madej), as well as identification of organic compounds in vessel samples (A. Rosiak, A. Józefowska, J. Kępiński, J. Kałużna-Czaplińska). A valuable complement to the volume — and to the overall knowledge of the Domasław site — is the publication of archival materials concerning the first rescue excavations at the cemetery in 1929, discovered in the Archives of the Archaeological Museum, a branch of the City Museum of Wrocław (K. Demidziuk, K. Świątek, A. Józefowska). The book, prepared thanks to a project funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, constitutes an indispensable addition to the complete set of monographs devoted to this important archaeological site. Its synthetic character provides a competent introduction and serves as a key to the full use of the source data.</jats:p>
