Abstract

<jats:p>This article examines the role of project activities in increasing the interest of younger students in mathematics. The study provides examples and practical suggestions on the use of project-based learning in primary schools. The possibilities of project activity are analyzed as a factor in increasing the interest of younger schoolchildren in mathematics. The development of cognitive activity, research abilities and independent work skills of students at the stage of primary education is an urgent problem. The project approach allows you to connect mathematical concepts with life situations, develop creativity and logical thinking of the student. The article provides a theoretical analysis and substantiates the effectiveness of project work using practical examples. The study showed that this method helps students to develop internal motivation and constant interest in classes.</jats:p>
